Apparently I severely underestimated how exhausting being a human would be. After being in the industry for 11 years, I did get a grasp on how emotionally and physically draining the job can be.
Little did I expect all these other parts of my job to pop up. Reciptionist-ing, marketing, looking cute and self care was part of the package; Planning a bakery market stall, busking, public speaking and writing a book definitely was completely unexpected.
Now's the time I'm trying to learn a solid work/life balance, before I burn myself out to a deflated pile of bones in a crispy meat sack again.Â
